Jan 23, 2018 · WD Blue 1TB Not Detected in BIOS The Western Digital 1TB Blue does not get detected by BIOS even after Switching 3 Sata Cables on it. After booting intp the PC with the main storage device, SSD which gets detected where ever I place the sata cable on motherboard and meanwhile the HDD stops spinning after 10-15 booting up.
When I insert the SSD it is not recognized as a drive. If I view Devices I can see the dock and I can see that it recognizes the WD drive is in the doc and says the device is working properly. However I cannot get the OS to recognize it as a drive in file manager.
