We got to see all sorts of Hawaiian Honeycreepers. We also learned so much about the Hawaiian Goose, or ‘Nene’; the state bird of Hawaii, one of the most endangered birds in the world. We even visited one of the conservation ranches. I found it most interesting that they are found in the wild along the slopes of the Hawaiian volcanoes!
